Read the FAQs below to help you get started smoothly.
How will I receive my payment?
At Premiere.ph, payments are made directly from employers to workers, and not through our platform. We do not charge any fees or take a percentage of salary payments. The method of payment is determined between the employer and the worker.
You have several options for receiving your payment, and in some cases, you can even have the funds sent directly to your home, depending on the service used.
Here are some platforms where your employer can send payments online:
Easypay
Payoneer
PayPal
Western Union
When can I expect my salary?
The payment schedule depends on the agreement between you and your employer. Typically, payments are made either biweekly or monthly. However, we recommend that workers request weekly payments when starting with a new employer to reduce the risk of working with someone unfamiliar.
Is this a trusted and verified platform?
You might not know until you give it a try. We’ve assisted thousands of Filipinos in securing jobs with foreign companies and working from home. premiereislandjobs.ph is the largest job posting board in the Philippines, and our growth to #1 is a testament to our legitimacy.
Am I applying for a job or a business opportunity?
Am I applying for a job or a business opportunity? This is not a “work-from-home” scam, nor is it a “typing for dollars” scheme.
You will not be paid on commission.
You will not need to pay anything to secure the job.
You won’t be paid “based on performance” or any similar arrangement.
This is a legitimate job where you will receive a fixed monthly salary for working full-time on someone else’s business.
Am I eligible for this?
Definitely! There are countless employers on the site, eager to hire individuals of all skill levels. Thousands of workers have already found positions through premierisland.com, and age is not a factor as long as you’re over 18 and eligible to work legally.
Do I need to be fluent in English to work online?
While it’s not a strict requirement, having strong English skills can certainly give you a competitive edge. A large number of employers on the platform are based in countries where English is the primary language, such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and others. Since communication with these employers will be conducted in English, having a good command of the language can significantly improve your chances of success.
If you’re struggling with understanding English or expressing yourself clearly, it may create some challenges in your interactions with employers. This could potentially make tasks such as following instructions, responding to queries, or participating in meetings more difficult. Therefore, it’s highly recommended to work on improving your English skills, as it will make your experience much smoother and increase your chances of landing and excelling in a job.
Can I actually get an online job?
Yes, you will be working online. There’s no need to leave the Philippines or move abroad, as we do not allow job postings that require relocation. You will be performing your tasks from the comfort of your home, or potentially from an internet café, and you’ll be working for international companies.
The nature of the work will primarily involve online tasks, which means you will be doing your job entirely through the internet. These tasks could range from data entry, customer support, research, or other online services required by foreign employers. It’s an opportunity to work remotely, without the need to travel or relocate, while still being part of global teams.
What happens if I don’t receive my payment?
At premiereislandjobs, we are dedicated to helping both workers and employers resolve any salary disputes that may arise. As neutral mediators, we listen to both sides of the situation and strive to find a fair solution that works for everyone involved. Most disputes typically occur when an employer is dissatisfied with the quality of work performed by a worker. The bottom line is clear: if you provide excellent work, you will get paid.
Our goal is to ensure premiereislandjobs remains the safest and most reliable platform for both workers and employers. In the unlikely event that an employer refuses to pay for work completed, we will remove the employer from our platform and ensure that the worker receives any funds that were paid to us for the employer’s subscription.
Additionally, workers can use the Verify Employer page on premiereislandjobs to check if an employer has an active and reputable account before agreeing to any work.
What is ID Proof, and how can I get a higher score?
ID Proof is a crucial process for confirming your identity. It involves providing detailed information that helps employers verify that you are who you say you are. If you only share a small amount of information, even if it is accurate, your ID trust score will remain low, which could limit your opportunities.
To improve your trust score, it’s important to provide as much detailed information as possible. This includes uploading your government-issued ID, a clear picture of yourself, a thorough description of your skills, and any other relevant personal information. The more information you offer, the easier it will be for potential employers to confirm your identity and trust you as a reliable candidate.
When you fully complete your ID proof, not only will your trust score increase, but you will also enhance your chances of standing out to employers who need to feel confident in their hires. The higher your ID proof score, the more likely you are to gain trust and be considered for jobs.
What tasks should I expect to do?
The tasks you’ll be doing depend on the specific job and employer you work with.
Common tasks include writing articles, blogs, forum posts, and other types of content. You may be updating websites or blogs, working on link building, or even programming (if that’s within your skill set). Customer support through email or chat is another common responsibility. If you have design skills, you might be tasked with designing web pages or building websites. Research and data collection are also frequent tasks.
The tasks can vary greatly from one job to another. However, we guarantee that you’ll be matched with a company seeking the skills you have. You may also be encouraged to learn new things and expand your skill set along the way!
How do I connect with potential employers?
To secure an employer or find an online job, the first step is to sign up on premiereislandjobs.
Provide as much information as possible in your profile.
The more detailed your profile, the greater your chances of getting hired.
Once your profile is complete, you can start applying for jobs, which is the recommended approach, or you can wait for employers to contact you directly.
What happens if I provide incorrect or fake details?
At premiereislandjobs, we have real people who manually review profiles, and we work hard to ensure that all information posted on the site is accurate. However, there may be instances where false information is discovered later. If you’re caught, you risk being banned from premiereislandjobs, so it’s crucial to ensure all the details in your profile are truthful.
Even if you don’t get caught (which is highly unlikely), you could end up working with an employer who will be disappointed with the quality of your work because you misrepresented your skills on your profile. The employer may refuse to pay for work that was either not completed or was done poorly because of inaccurate information.
How long does it usually take to get a job?
The speed of getting hired depends on you. You can wait for an employer to reach out, but this could take longer. The quickest way to get hired is by applying to multiple jobs you’re qualified for and responding promptly to any inquiries. Make sure you apply for jobs that closely match your skills and experience to avoid wasting time on positions you’re unlikely to get.
It also helps to apply for a variety of roles. Consider your core skills and think about how they can be applied to different types of jobs. Even if the positions are slightly different, your experience may still be relevant to those roles.
What causes certain jobs to be deactivated?
When a job is deactivated, it indicates that the position has already been filled. This typically means that the employer has chosen another applicant for the role, and as a result, the listing is no longer active. Once a job is taken, the opportunity is closed, and it is no longer available for new applicants to apply to. If you find that a job has been deactivated, it’s best to explore other available positions that match your skills and qualifications.
Can I get a worker account even if I didn’t graduate from college?
No, you don’t need to have a college degree. You can simply be a graduate of a technical course or even a high school graduate who has gained the necessary skills to work online.
Can I apply for an online position if I’m currently working in an office?
Yes, but it comes with some risks. We strongly advise applicants to have only one employer. However, if you’re currently working in an office and want to try an online job before leaving your current position, you can work part-time, as long as you ensure you have enough hours. It’s also important to discuss this with your current employer to confirm they are okay with this arrangement.
Is an interview required to get the job?
Yes, there will be job interviews. These interviews can take various forms, depending on your employer’s preference. They could be conducted through email, a Skype call, or even a video call. The format will depend on what the employer feels is most suitable for the position and your location. Be prepared for any of these methods of communication, as it’s important to present yourself clearly and professionally, regardless of the interview format.
How come I can't upload my ID successfully?
try these 3 option:
1. Reduce the file size to under 2MB.
2. Save the image in .jpg format.
3. If the issue continues, try using a different web browser.
Can a Filipino working abroad apply for a job?
Absolutely, Filipinos who are currently residing abroad are indeed eligible to apply for employment opportunities, but it is important for them to understand and accept that their compensation will be issued in the local currency. Additionally, the salary they receive will be based on the prevailing wage scales typically offered in their home country, rather than potentially higher wages that might be available in the country where they currently reside. This arrangement ensures that their earnings are consistent with national standards, regardless of their physical location at the time of employment.
Do you accept workers from outside the country?
premiereislandjobs.ph focuses on connecting employers with highly skilled workers from this country. Employers who use our site know that it is the ideal platform to find local talent. Therefore, we only allow citizens of this nation to sign up as workers, and we do not accept workers from outside the country, including India, Africa, Europe, or other Asian regions. Workers from outside this country are not permitted to join the platform.
What does TimeProof mean?
Timeproof is a software program developed by us to help workers verify the hours they claim to their employers. It’s a lightweight program that runs on both Apple and PC computers, tracking the hours you work and taking screenshots to demonstrate to your employer that you are actively working on their tasks. You have full control over when the program runs and tracks your working time, allowing you to pause it whenever you stop working. You are always in control. While not all employers require it, we highly recommend that all workers use it. For more details, visit https://www.premiereislandjob.ph/timeproof.
How can I remove my account?
If you need to temporarily deactivate your account, we recommend setting it to “Inactive” instead of deleting it. This allows you to reactivate your account later. To do this, simply log in to your account and update your Account Status to “Inactive.”
If you wish to permanently delete your account, please email us at [email protected]. Please be aware that this action is irreversible, and we do not allow the creation of multiple accounts. Once deleted, you will no longer have access to premiereislandjobs.ph.
Do i really need to take a test?
No, it’s not required, but it will definitely improve your chances of getting hired. The more tests you complete, the easier it becomes to demonstrate your skills and prove that you are highly qualified.
